“Dan McCormick is the brains behind my marvelous new company logo and website! He had amazing creative ideas for developing and implementing my website. Most importantly, he was patient with me and took his time ensuring that I was completely satisfied before we proceeded further. His vision includes the minute details that pull everything together. I honestly don’t know how I could have done this with anyone but him. I can’t wait to use him in my other business ventures.”

Head Tilt?

The inspiration for “Head Tilt” came from my pug, Bandit, who is featured in the logo. One of the many pug charms is the “head tilt.” They tilt their heads so they can listen more effectively.

Listening is the key to good design. Once I understand your goals they become my goals.

For marketing and advertising agencies, I offer quick, expert design by the hour, or by the project: Logos, illustrations, ads, brochures, booklets, websites, maps, diagrams, and much more.

For a small businesses, especially start-ups,  I can also help with advice, writing and editing, photography, and more.

Experience Matters

My name is Dan McCormick, a freelance graphic designer.

I founded Head Tilt Design Co. to provide marketing and design agencies a reliable, experienced, and versatile freelance designer and illustrator.

That same skill set is also available to small businesses who need design but who may not need a whole agency.

I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the prestigious Tyler School of Art. That was neither the beginning nor the end of my education. In fact, it never ends.

I am always learning—exploring new technology. Every assignment is a new opportunity to excel.

Experience as a creative director, art director, graphic designer, production artist, illustrator, photographer, photojournalist, and writer have taught me well.

This experience comes from businesses—large and small, marketing agencies, and more.

How can I help grow your business?

Proper Tools

Head Tilt Design uses the most up-to-date, industry standard hardware and software on the robust Mac platform.

I use Adobe Creative Suite CC to leverage cutting edge technology to create unique designs for each customer, never a template.

The possibilities are endless.
